Warhammer Products

Awesome Hobbies has recently begun selling Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 products. What is Warhammer? Warhammer is a line of products that create a tabletop fantasy battle for a minimum of two players. This is a product from Games Workshop, which also carries products such as a Hobbit fantasy battle game and Citadel paints, which are used on Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 sets. Awesome Hobbies has their own Warhammer tabletop scene (crafted by a customer).

To battle in Warhammer, two or more players face off on a tabletop battleground with miniature figurine armies. There is a wide variety of characters for battle, including Orcs, Goblins, and Wood Elves. Different colors of Citadel paint give your armies different powers. If you come in to Awesome Hobbies (322 N Detroit Street, Warsaw, Indiana) they can explain the basic rules and other more detailed aspects of the game.

What is the setting of this apocalyptic battlefield? According to the Warhammer 40,000 package, "It is forty thousand years in the future, and Mankind is beset on all sides by horrifying alien attackers." The actual battlefield scene will vary based on how you and your opponent/s decide to set it up, but the game is always fun. Interested? Contact the store through their Facebook page, or come visit them (see address above).
